This commercial treadmill has a 3 hp AC induction motor with a peak output of 6hp/2.2kW 8.6A, 1450 rpm. Because this long-lasting unit will be used repeatedly every day, it was designed with the gym owner in mind.

The massive 3HP AC induction motor (Peak 7HP/2.2kW) at the heart of this heavy duty treadmill has less wear and tear than a DC motor, and when combined with the latest state of the art inverter, the skyline commercial treadmill will get your heaviest trainer up to 20 km per hour in seconds without missing a beat.


Deck 30mm Reversible

The deck and treadmill mat are the main sources of wear and tear on any treadmill. Orbit has matched a 25 mm reversible deck with a self-lubricating 2.1 thick 3 layered running belt to add life to these two components, giving you more run time and less down time.

Running Belt with 3 Layers


Two-layer running belts are standard on high-end domestic treadmills and even low-end commercial treadmills. The third centre layer is made of a steel mesh weave, which provides strength, thickness, durability, and stiffness to prevent unwanted stretching, which can lead to slipping, requiring a maintenance person to tighten the belt. (Only a limited amount of tightening is available). The top layer has also been improved for increased traction.

Belt and Deck System that requires no maintenance

A maintenance-free belt and deck system is ideal for a busy gym owner who must perform daily maintenance on all gym equipment. The mat and deck are silicone-infused, extending the time between deck lubrication.

The Orbit Skyline is built to withstand the constant punishment of the commercial environment, with a heavy gauge steel frame (Depressed orbicular tube 60x180x3mm). Durable powdercoat paint, aluminium side rails, and a console mast keep this machine strong and stable for years.

Quick Start

The computer is simple and easy to use, with a QUICK START button, stop and pause functions. If you are a regular gym goer or just visit a gym on vacation, having to press several buttons or ask for assistance can be inconvenient. When you get on the treadmill and are ready to walk, jog, or run, you don't want it to be too complicated with a lot of buttons and screens to look at, so on our Skyline you just press the big QUICK START button and away you go.

Automatic Incline and Speed


A powerful servo extends and retracts the front stabilising legs to control the incline. To supplement this, we've added quick speed and incline buttons, so simply press 3,6,9,12, or 15 to select your speed or incline. How simple is that?
